A MINDSET AND METHODOLOGY
There are many HR Transformation frameworks in the world. And each year new versions arrive. But frameworks don’t deliver lasting organisational change - people do.
That’s why I created High Impact HR - to help organisations transform. To simplify complexity, optimise and redesign processes and technology, and build exceptional employee experiences, creating lasting business impact and saving millions.
High Impact HR is a mindset and methodology, built on my 12 Transformation Principles and my signature approach. It's been shaped over my 25 years designing and delivering award-winning transformation globally, aligning HR with business strategy and ensuring HR functions don’t just support the business - they drive it forward.
The High Impact HR approach has delivered successful transformation across industries, geographies and organisations of every size and scale. It's been recognised across the HR profession for it's impact and outcomes.
HIGH IMPACT HR - THE BOOK
After 25 years shaping and applying the thinking in organisations, I knew that I wanted to share the High-Impact HR approach with the world. But I had no idea where the journey might lead.
Then, in September 2024 I was in beautiful Rhodes with my sister. And I had a “sun lounger moment”. I decided to codify my methodology and write High-Impact HR the book. I mapped it out there and then, the concept, the chapters - and the purpose was clear from the start:
To help the HR world transform. To realise our potential, to deliver real impact and outcomes, to become a true enabler of the business strategy. And to harness the power of our greatest asset - our people.
I approached writing the book in the same way I approach transformation in organisations: think big, start small. Begin with a bold vision, put the right structure in place, work step-by-step, then test and learn. I like to think that anything can be achieved if we dream big enough and break huge goals into manageable pieces. It was still the hardest thing I’ve ever done.
Two years later in September 2026, back in beautiful Rhodes with my sister. Same week, same hotel, different sun lounger - yet so much has happened.
This time the book came with me. Since its launch in April 2026 the response has been truly humbling.
It sold out at the CIPD Festival of Work, was selected for the bookstore at SHRM Orlando, it’s been featured by CIPD People Management Magazine, HR Week Fusion, The Inspiring Workplaces Group, Book of the Month in Data Driven HR Monthly by David Green, and the thinking behind the book has also been featured in HRZone.
I didn’t write this book to sit on a shelf. I wrote it to be used. To live on desks, to be brought into meetings, to be discussed and shared - and used to spark real change. Hearing from readers around the world - and across the HR profession and beyond, about the impact of the book has been everything I could have ever hoped for and more.
Here’s what this incredible journey has taught me:
1. If you don’t ask the answer will always be no.
2. The perfect time will never arrive and the best time to begin is right now.
3. The moment you believe it’s possible you’re already half way there.
4. Never, ever give up.
This book is here because of the support of so many people. Thank you to everyone who has been part of the journey.
Dream big, be bold, and never let anyone tell you it cannot be done.
